3D Printing Lead Times
The cart shows an order-level processing estimate when you calculate shipping. It considers the current paid production queue, printing capacity, the work in your order, and shop allowances.
Processing is estimated in calendar days. Carrier transit comes after production, and neither the processing estimate nor a shipping service is a guaranteed arrival date. Ask before ordering if you have a deadline.
Production first. Carrier transit afterward.
Order size, part count, print settings, and the current production queue all affect the estimate.
Shipping speed is a separate step after production timing is considered.
Where to see the estimate
Add custom files or store prints to the cart, enter a supported US address, and calculate shipping. Review the processing estimate alongside the selected carrier service and total before payment.
The quote workspace does not promise a turnaround per uploaded file. An estimate is calculated for the combined order, including quantities and any store products.
Custom orders
Custom 3D print orders can vary the most because each part has its own file geometry, settings, and quantity. A small change in the order can change the production picture more than a customer expects.
Production starts after confirmed payment, not when a file is uploaded or a shipping quote is requested. An unpaid quote does not reserve production capacity.
Premade products
Premade product orders are generally simpler to assemble because the product data and configuration are already prepared. Even so, production timing can still change based on quantity and current workload.
Production time vs shipping time
Production lead time and carrier transit time are separate. The order has to be produced before the shipping leg can begin, so a fast carrier service does not replace print time.
That is why it helps to review both the shipping step and the order timing context together rather than treating them as the same thing.
If timing changes before checkout
A cart or address change clears the previous shipping quote. The order is rechecked before checkout as well; if the processing estimate increases or is no longer available, refresh shipping to review the current estimate before paying.
Need timing help for a specific project?
Email support before ordering with the model, quantity, intended material, destination, and required date. The shop can discuss the project and current workload; do not assume expedited production or next-day delivery is available.
